Miss Belmar Deep Fishing and Surf Taco Seaside New Jersey Review

So the other day my friend came back from ROTC at fort knox, so him and another friend wanted to go Deep sea fishing at belmar NJ. So I took off work and went there barely getting there on time.
We took one of the boats here. We heard it was $35 for the trip, it ended up being $50 with rental of rod and bait. The trip went from 1:30pm until 6p.m it was really fun. The boat is in great shape, they switch fishing positions every so often so theres more chance of you catching stuff. I barely have gone fishing before and my friends never did before, but the crew helped us with our rods and catching/skinning the fish. We mostly caught a lot of sting rays but we managed to catch a few flukes, one which we were able to take back and eat later that night. Keep in mind though to not get seasick, I got seasick and eventually ended up puking over the side, it's not horrible, but if you get seasick there's nowhere for you to go. The reason I got seasick was cause I had to untangle my rod at one point and that made me sick, besides that the place was really nice and had awesome views of the surrounding towns.

Later we headed over to Seaside, NJ for what my friend refered to as "Fish Tacos". The place is called "Surf Taco" apparently rated 2nd best "bang for buck" restaurants in NJ by some company I forget about. The place is pretty well themed, prices are pretty cheap for the amount of food you get. I didn't get any of the Fish Taco's but my friend says they are pretty good. Kind of reminded me of Moe's only more family friendly and not a chain.

Those are not the fish we caught and ate.
