Tilt Night Club Review (Rochester, New York, USA)

This time around I will be reviewing the nightclub in Rochester, NY, USA called "Tilt".

Before I start I will mention that this is not only a mostly gay club, which involves transvestites and what not, but I am also a straight male that was conviced to go with bi girls.
As you walk in the line is split between 18-21 and 21+. 18-21 given an X on their hand. On the right you can find the bathrooms, a chill bar and lounge. In front of you there is a cage and a room I did not go into. On the left being the most popular part of the club where the DJ and dancing goes on. The day I went also happened to be a radio station's afterparty and a drag show in which men dressed as women and women dressed as men dance and get handed money like strippers. The club features a disco ball in the middle and a slightly elevated area surrounding the stage and dance floor. The lights are very well done in the club, the music system is done well too, alcohol selection seemed decent. Here it what matters.

Pros:
- Good light show
- Good remixes of popular songs (50/50 of the time)
- Trance-ish music of popular songs, very well done and mixed.
- Lounge area looks very nice
- Bathrooms are clean and watched over
- Dancing area is big, has places for people to stand up and dance
- People running the place know how to have a good time
- Good bar selection
- Very gay and straight friendly
- There are straight/bi girls there for straight guys to dance with.
- Drag shows are funny.
Cons:
- Really bad remixes. Some remixes like "Milli" can be just absolutely horribly done.
- Creepy people, I remember seeing fat old guys video taping the thing in the middle of the stage, or like 40+ women dancing and trying to hit on younger guys. But not many about 5% of the club.
- Back of the dance floor, this is where fat and ugly girls hang out at, avoid they will try to grind you and its annoying.
- No re-entry for 18-21
Overall I have to say this is a fun nightclub to go to no matter what your orientation is. It is very well decorated and just does a generally good job. Some of their DJ's really should not play some bad remixes, but hey it's a risk you take when you play neat music. I would go again. I would really appreciate if they kept the creepy old guys with camera's out of the club.
Also we did catch two people having sex in the back of the club, but what are you going to do.
Score: 8/10
The creepy guys, and bad mixes keep it from a 9. 10 would be a bit bigger and if lounge area was used more appropiately. It seemed under-used, which is a shame since it is really nice.
